· VISA: All travelers need valid passport and visa for Ghana and they could also register on-line.
· HEALTH: Malaria Control Project required in various communities. Vaccinations against Hepatitis B, typhoid and HIV counseling are recommended.
· CLIMATE: Accra and the coastal areas have sub-tropical and temperatures of 25 degrees C to 32 degrees C. The Northern regions records from 21 degrees C to 35 degrees C. The raining season are April to October with high storms normally from September to late October. The dry season starts from November to late March. It is cooler around the coastal areas because of the land breeze and sea breeze. 
· CURRENCY: Ghana Cedi is the currency of Ghana. Its exchange rate is convertible to US Dollar. 1 USD = 2.249 GHS, 1 GBP = 3.702 GHC, 1 Euro = 3.060 GHC, respectively.
· SECURITY: Accra is a peaceful place and you should abide by the principles that apply in the community as it is in many international countries. Avoid carrying large sums of money and making financial calls loudly in public. Limit yourself from going out in the night alone and possess your ID and be polite at police or security stations.
· HOURS: Working days are from Monday to Saturday. Other service providers and shops open on Saturday morning and close at afternoon hours. Offices both private and public (government) open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Financial services and banks open from 8:00 am, break 12:00 pm, resume 2:00 pm and close 4:00 pm.
